Dear Honey.  Well I am still in Monte Carlo and not yet broke.  It is a wonder, but I am not spending my money buying souvenirs altho I have bought a few.  Souvenirs that I would like to have are not within the reach of my limited pocketbook.  I wanted to buy a Kodak like what I could buy at home for 6 to 8 dollars but when I inquired as to the price it was 225 franc ($45).  Gee I nearly fell thru the floor when he told me that.  Well I did not buy so I will have to do without it.  One of the boys has one and he took several pictures and I will get a few of them.  They were taken in front of our hotel.  Yesterday it was raining so I decided to rest up a little and so I staid around the Y hearly all day watching them dancing.  Talk about  dancing the girls get all the dancing they want.  You see there is about twenty boys to one girl and the dance here, the Y gives invitations to the girls and that is the way they run it.  This morning I attended church services and in the afternoon I took a car ride to Menton up to the French-Italian borderline and then walk about one half mile into Italy.  Gee but this has been some warm day walking everywhere you see oranges and lemons ripening on the trees and violets and flowers all around.  I also mailed some cards home while in Italy and I will send some views later.  I got back to the hotel in time for supper.  Now I am down in the Y waiting for the concert.  So while waiting I thought I would write you a few lines.  Tomorrow morning I intend to spend the day in Nice hope that it will be a nice day like to day.  Well honey I have told you all the news so far so will quit now and listen to the music. With all my love and kisses to my darling wife.
