Feb 25 1919 Verdun France Dear Honey          Well still in Verdun and expect to stay here for sometime don't know how long, but think for a few months and maybe when we do move it will be homeward bound.  The people are now beginning to move back again into Verdun, but it is an awful place they have to go to though it will it will take years to rebuild it again.  Sunday instead of writing and it being such a fine day I took a walk out into the country away back of the camp up onto a high hill.  There I had a fine view of Verdun and the hills around My but it was great and I wish you could of been with me to see all the damage that the huns did.  Words can't describe it and I won't be able to describe either, tho I will do the best I can to do it when I get back.            I passed a big hospital and gave yard where the French&U.S. soldiers were buried.  I did not know any of the names on...
